I played a lead role in planning and executing the immersive exhibit for Hope Summit’s “Day to Dream” event. I helped guide the overall project from concept through installation, shaping the visual direction and determining how the display would come together for the event. Our goal was to create an accessible, engaging experience that blended Belmont alumni and student stories in a way that would resonate with prospective students. The exhibit included two stations: a stationary projection box combining audio, motion graphics, and design to tell the story, followed by an interactive puzzle piece that invited visitors to end the experience on a positive, reflective note through a takeaway that revealed a hidden message.

My Role

“The Hope Summit allowed us to reach new audiences and demonstrate the power of interactive design in storytelling. Telling the history of a university is vital as it preserves its legacy, celebrates its achievements, and inspires future generations by connecting them to the institution's values and traditions.”

An interactive installation transformed Belmont's rich history into an immersive experience during this year's Hope Summit "Day to Dream" event. The exhibit, crafted by Watkins design students as part of a semester-long class project, offered visitors a dynamic journey through the University's evolution and achievements.
